City Natives

Based In: New Brunswick and Nova Scotia

City Natives, four talented aboriginal hip-hop artists, banded together to make a dynamic team. Hailing from first nations communities throughout the East Coast of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, City Natives made their mark on the Hip Hop community. They were the first aboriginal east coast artists to win not one, but two indigenous music awards. Most recently, City Natives won the 2nd ECMA award of their career and were the first aboriginal group to be nominated for, “hip hop recording of the year.” The first hip hop group to tour from Sydney N.S, to Victoria B.C, City Natives have shared the stage with such big names in Hip Hop as; YG, Mobb Deep, Bone Thugz N’ Harmony, 2 Live Crew & Raekwon. With 7 awards under their belt and 3 studio albums, there isn’t telling where this highly calibrated group of artists does next !
