Hailing from the Sampson Cree Nation, Karmen James Omeasoo aka Hellnback is no stranger to the music industry. As co-founder of the music industry’s first Native super-group, Warparty (circa 93), Hellnback was known as Kool-ayd the Chubby Cree. Kool-ayd, back then, helped set the foundation and path for many artists who would follow next. As time went on, Kool-ayd decided to venture off to expand his rapid growing career and teamed up with Rezofficial Power Producers Tom Crier aka Stomp, and Jason Makina aka JMak.
