From leading the group War Party (now disbanded) to be the first native rap group to have a music video (Feeling Reserved) air nationally on Much Music Rap City,to winning the 2001 and first ever Canadian Aboriginal Music Award for best rap or hip-hop album Rex Smallboy cemented his status as an icon in the native rap entertainment industry in Canada. Rex has also had the distinguished honor of working with Rap Music Legend Chuck D from Public Enemy on his last War Party release The Resistance. Based out of Vancouver Rex Smallboy is a highly respected hip-hop artist, professional night club DJ and accomplished keynote speaker.
