Revolutions Per Minute is proud to announce RPM Live, our new Indigenous music performance series, that will be presented monthly from August to November 2016 in Toronto.
We’re kicking things off on Friday, August 26th with Northwest hip-hop duo Mob Bounce and DJ NDN of the mighty A Tribe Called Red crew at the Burdock Music Hall in Toronto.
Each show will bring you the best Indigenous music from across Turtle Island with a mix of live bands, DJs, acoustic sets, visuals and special guests. #RPMLive will be a unique opportunity to see Indigenous artists perform in an intimate setting with incredible sound—and to celebrate the diversity of our community and Indigenous music culture.

RPM Live : 001 – AUG 26
RPM Live : 002 – SEPT 29
RPM Live : 003 – OCT 27

RPM Live 001: w/ Mob Bounce & DJ NDN (A Tribe Called Red)
Mob Bounce are a northwest coast Native hip-hop duo comprised of The Northwest Kid (Gitxsan) and Heebz the Earthchild (Cree/Metis), delivering passionate and soulful music that blends acoustic musicianship and electronics with elements of their Indigenous cultures. Their most recent album, Mob Medicine, was released in late 2015.
DJ NDN is Anishinaabe from Nipissing First Nation, and 1/3 of the internationally renowned Indigenous DJ collective A Tribe Called Red. ATCR is known for their incendiary blend of hip-hop, traditional pow wow drums and vocals, and edgy electronic music production. Their new album, We Are the Halluci Nation, will be released September 16th. DJ NDN joins us for a special set of ‘powwow step’ and dancefloor-filling fire.
