I love all Derek Miller’s songs. I guess my favorite and one that has touched so many people is Call an Angel down> A good friend of mine’s mother and brother were killed in an auto accident and that song helped his family grieve. Whenever he was feeking down, he asked me to play that song for him. Thanks Derek, Six nations is proud of you.

Nothing but the best for our first nations people!!
Pick Me! Pick Me!
GREAT STUFF DERERK
Heaven is my favorite song because I have lost five family members these past two years, first was my dear father-in-law who taught us how to pray and not to worry; next was my favorite sister who was my best friend who wrote a note to her daughter and spouse shortly after she knew she was not going to conquer breast cancer – in her letter she informed everyone that she had come to terms with her condition and that she now has a personal relationship with God, and that she prayed for unity within our family, our community, and the world. This song is so appropriate because everyone that we have lost all were true believers in God and what it means to be a Christian. The song was very soothing to me in my grieving. Thank you so very much for sharing your special gift Derrick. My husband discovered your music several years ago and we often listen to recordings, we were fortunate to have heard you live in Hazelton, B.C. Thanks again

Awesome, love Derek Miller. My hubby and I actually seen both Mr. Miller and Mr.Cardinal live. Haha. DM at a brewery performing live this past summer and LC on the big screen at an Oiler hockey game many moons ago (maybe season three or four of Corner gas)…haha. I just yelled out ” Yay Corner Gas”. I won’t tell you what i yelled out to DM at his concert. Pretty filthy mouth on my part. Jokes (my hubby knows i’m kidding, i was speechless). DM, send Oilers a cd or three to play at home games. I would love to hear you at their home games. Oh I also see Don Burnstick at some Oiler games. I said “Hey Don” like i knew him personally. Wah. Anyhow, I will donate tickets to a poster if i win. Seeing how I’m from Alberta and will not be in the area. Good luck Karen.
Stoned for days would be my best song
