Lumbee artist Jana Mashonee is a two time GRAMMY nominee and eight time winner of the Native American Music Awards (NAMMYS) in every major category. Jana’s video’s have won numerous film festival awards as well as a NAMMY for Best Short Form Music Video for The Enlightened Time from her concept album American Indian Story. Jana’s music has been featured on the Discovery Channel’s new hit series, Flying Wild Alaska and in December, 2011 Jana performed some of her songs from American Indian Christmas at the world renowned Carnegie Hall in an emotional and intimate performance.
